Are you guys using single or double wall rims on a klunker for light trail use? Is double wall even necessary?
If you are sub-200lbs, you should be fine with single wall rims. Are you guys using single or double wall rims on a klunker for light trail use? Is double wall even necessary?
I am 6', 200 pounds on the nose. Do you think it will be a problem? If you are sub-200lbs, you should be fine with single wall rims.
I am 6'2 and around 190#. I go double wall when possibleI am 6', 200 pounds on the nose. Do you think it will be a problem?
My LBS had a single wall wheel complete for $85 so I grabbed it. If I bend the snot out of the rim, I'll just buy a double wall rim and lace it up. 95% of my riding will be pavement and hard packed canal road riding. I don't make it down to my local MTB trails that often. Maybe come November when work slows down for me.I am 6'2 and around 190#. I go double wall when possible
Lesson learned. The last thing I check before a bike goes out is the wheels for true,
So using a 1 1/8" threadless fork would be no problem? It appears you have a real oddball there, 1 1/8" threaded .
Thank you. What would be a good primer?
