Started out with a 69 Columbia that had a corroded head tube and a Schwinn cruiser 5 speed

Cut the head tube off the Columbia and further back on the Schwinn so I could figure out how I wanted to stretch the front. Then I cut both back halves of the frames and stretched the rear some. I had to make some adapters to join the different size tubes

I came up with the name when I decided to leave the original paint on the Columbia part and just repaint the Schwinn parts.made some custom handle bar using one piece bars from a kids Dora bike and a pair of cruiser bars.

And this is what I came up with

Nicely stretched out, almost leaf shape.
And I love the color combo.

I love a root beer float too but can't remember when I last had one so too long lol.

Why did the thumb nails pop up in my thread?
They don't show up for me. Finished Thread looks great!

Very cool build, Brian! Your amalgamation of two dissimilar frames to create this stretched, but not obtusely so, bike hit all the right buttons with me.

I went back yesterday and fixed it. I think it was because I accidentally downloaded the pictures twice somehow . Once I deleted the second set of pics the thumbnails went away. I guess if you don't use the downloaded thumb pics it just puts them at the bottom of the post.

The first pic/ voting pic is a great choice, shows off the lines in a unique way. Congratulations to a classy build!
