I bought this BMX cruiser from 65rat for $5. Before I left my Powder coater stopped by and I ended up trading this away for a future powder coating job.

For a 26" bent springer. I had a guy after me to sell or trade the springer to him. We tried on and off for several hours to strike a deal to no avail. Finally as we were packing up and most everyone had left, I sold it to him for $40. I then took that cash and bought this tandem from aka_locojoe.

I didn't even get the truck unloaded completely before I had the tandem ridable

I was just happy that my rear tandem wheel with a freshly rebuilt Sachs Duomatic didn't sell at the swap.

The most important thing I wanted to come home with is some nice stripes on my Colson Rat.

Re: Midwest Bicycle Swap Treasures

Spent my lunch break researching and I found the tandem is a pre-war BSA. '34-'39 to be exact. Now I just have to search the frame for some numbers to try to decypher.

I had two sight unseen offers on it last night at work, but I turned them both down. Rest assured you will be seeing this bike in my stable for a long time to come. Thanks again!

Want to trade this for the BSA tandem??? Picked this up the other day. I would like to keep the wheels, bus mirror & the seatpost. I think a straight across trade would be fair. If you REALLY want the wheels, I would throw them in if you want to include the Orient Express in the deal. Let me know if this would work for you.
