Back shortly after I joined here I had talked to a woman about some old bikes that she wanted to get rid of, well I went and looked and seen the best honey hole (nothing super special) of bikes Ive seen in my area. The day I went she wasnt home and her husband let me take a couple that he knew she wanted gone and I could never get back in alone get ahold of the woman for almost a year. Well she contacted me and told me I could still have them BUT she really needed the one kind of bike I hardly ever run into at a price that makes it worth getting just to trade. A freaking trike. So now my search is on for a cheap trike I can barter with.

A woman in my church asked me about getting her a trike, but she didn't want to spend even $100. I got her in touch with a guy who had a Worksman Industrial trike, I told her it was a good deal ($60) and a solid trike, so she bought it, then called me and told me it was too heavy and not as easy as she thought, she wanted something lighter. So I bought it from her so she wouldn't be out the cash. I couldn't sell that thing to save my life, finally traded it for a late 90s Dyno BMX.

Good luck on your search. What did you get the first time you went there?

Yep, don't you just love it when you try to do something nice for someone and then you own all the problems that come with it? Good job taking care of her though. You're a good man.

My mom loves her SUN trike (so do my kids) If I could find a bunch of older trikes I could sale them as fast as I could get them ready to go, Thats my no.1 asked for bike. Once I get the bikes Ill post pics.

I bought this thing a long time ago with intentions of doing something with it... It never happened. All I did was completely disassemble it and that's where it all ended. I keep looking at it thinking to myself that I should put it back together and try to sell it locally. Maybe it would be easier to box it up and ship it to you :D Shipping would probably be a deal breaker but if you were interested in it let me know.
