MONTHS ago i got a really rusty jc higgins flightliner.
its been a long road, and im kicking myself for not getting any before pictures..
at the same time i bought my bike, i bought a girls version for my girlfriend:
mine was in much worse shape
so i stripped it, blasted and powdercoated it - i decided to go kustom.
here she is when i just got her some new wheels
the project was really on the backburner at this point, i just needed a few parts (thanks ebay)
now, here she is, totaly ridable
almost everything is new or in great used condition.. i took my time
to do list:
re-cover seat, black with a white scalop to match the contour of the tank
install painted rack and freshly polished rack struts
maybe add some black fenders
get a chainguard to match - (still looking)
maybe do an original rat trap springer (still looking)
but then again, i have a whole lot of projects...
