im hoping for some help or advice fellas,
i got some cool chrome ape hanger handlebars but they are too thin for the schwinn stem to tighten, is there anyway to adapt them so they secure nice and tight?, i believe vintage handle bars flare out in the center and thats what makes them work, mine are all the same diameter through out.
I haVE TRIED wraping center of handlebars with aluminum tape, duct tape, and thin bedable metal but i just cant seem to make it work
any help or advice would be apreciated
