My new toy...just needs a little detail work to suit my taste. Thanks Nate for a great bike  I'm very happy!

Just a little minor detail stuff...Nate did a great job cleaning it up. Probably take the Carlisles off and install some vintage black walls and recover the seat in red leather. I love original paint stuff

hi, i recently picked a 'monark' basing at least on its springer fork. but i doubt the frame is of monark's. it is more of columbia's in terms of its feature... the bike has no headbadge, no tank, no fender, has incorrect chainguard...

based on the pic of your bike i would like to confirm mine... with your indulgence, can you post the left side of this bike? highlighting the kickstand and the dropouts? thanks a lot -

I've owned 3 whole ones and parted out several.....this ones a keeper! It's exactly what I wanted for a Monark in my collection

Better watch it Jeff - once you get started on these Monarks it's tough to stop. I had 5 of them before I got control of that addiction. This one's a real beauty.

I hated to see this one go but is going to a great place and will be well taken care of Im sure. :D

Roland,

I'll get you a few photos when I get home.

I would love to have either an original Monark Super Deluxe or an original Schwinn Black Phantom to add to my collection.
It could take years or it may never happen, but half of the fun is looking...
