Need a seat post for Mongoose Durham MTB Mongoose told me it's a # sp200 Total $ 20.95
Forgot to ask if steel or alloy Took the Crank apart , Arm could be used as dumbbell . got some Shimano Square Taper replacements .
Want all the Alloy I can . If I knew the size, = Alloy seatpost . Otherwise $ 21 for a hunk of pipe .

Seatposts are sized by their diameter in mm and their length--there are many sizes. Some are quite common; others are oddball. If you're lucky enough to still have the original post, the size is typically engraved or laser-etched somewhere near the markings for minimum insertion. Otherwise...measure. A digital caliper helps.

Maybe check with these guys? If they can't supply you with the proper seatpost, they can likely measure it accurately, at least.

I know of ' Earn a Bike ' I admire what they do . Trouble is , they move , have very limited hours . I hope they can get some location funding . They have an impressive shop , and a mountain of bikes , sad to see them have to move .
