I have seen plenty on Fixed Gear Gallery (web and facebook). IMO you lose much of the detail without highlights.

i may have to wait til i'm home to see the fixed gear gallery. can't seem to get it at work.

the chopper oly bike is actually a little further than i want to go. i'm thinking more like paint the frame (yellow in my case), then grips, seat, accessories, etc i 'd try to find in yellow too. things like rims, tires, crank and handlebars would stay their more common colors and finishes.

yeah, that's a lot closer. like whatever has a painted finish and the accessories are all one color.

i think i'm gonna do it. i had a goal of having it done by memorial day (for a city bike ride i'm thinking of doing) but i think i procrastinated too long and won't find all the parts in time.
