Re: More!

The capital of Canada lol a giant piece away. as for genderbend i'll take a pic tomorow when it's not dark like it is now

Edit: I also failed to mention these little things, if you buy these new i'm sure may cost alot however I got each one of them free. they are each very bright led lights, each small yellow dot in one is a light, I plan on making some neat bike lights with em, my job benifits me in more then one day lol, why would they throw these awesome very bight lights out?!

Edit Again:
So I whipped up a light, it's even waterproof, the on off switch was also from my work, the light is very bright, even more then normal bike lights, it also runs off two small batterys and can last a long time before needing battery replacing. parts came from broken lights that where going in trash lol

Re: More!

That's how I made the headlight and taillight for my Bootlegger bike but mine are just single led, i might get with you on a bulb upgrade for mine. are they 6 volt? I got generators!

Here's mine as seen on
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22740&p=307553&hilit=headlight#p307553

Mine was probably the easiest LED conversion to date! I found these single LED clip on lights at the local Save-A-Lot store.
Chop the clip off the light, unscrew the top, remove a beauty ring and stick it through the light bulb hole of my headlight,
Replace the top on the other side of the reflector, and put it back in the light. To work it you just open the headlight press
the switch and close it back. Simple as pie.

Re: More!

Thats a pretty good idea, next time I go to the dollerama i'll see if theres any of those there. I like mine because the brightness and theway I assembled it lol

Re: More!

Not a clue what those stores are, must be american doller type stores.

Re: More!

I'm not sure, those hubs might get laced into the klunker's rims. i'm gonna make myself a pretty Klunker. do you need just the calibor part? I tend to gather alot of those useless things for some reason

Re: More!

The bike I was getting today is this balloontire bike. not sure if it's really a columbia because the badge is not flush with headtube and it looks repainted. crank arms are weird also is it possible to get a tank for this bike?
as for disc arts I have department store calibors, that proberly aint all that great, some don't even function, I do know where there is a rear hubthough. it's at the local co op, the ones on the bike seem to also suck, whats with people these days? why can't they make stuff that actualy lasts long.

Columbia.

Re: More!

Hmm I think I'll find a tank for this and build a neat Klunker. I have lots I parts and access to more to do it.

Re: More! [plus more update]

Got this weird norco mountain bike, it's got 26" rims and a very small frame with weird brakes lol the frames a 15" and I offten see brakes under frame but never there, also the stem is part of handle bars.

Re: More! [plus more update]

Hsean be sure and mount those LEDs to some sort of heat sinking material and use a thermal compound between the LED and thre heatsink which could be an aluminum plate with the Led mounted on it with tiny screws or thermal epoxy from Radio Shack. This one is screwed to an alum disk that is in turn screwed to the aluminum flashlight body. The whole thing is esentually a heat sink. I run this on on 3 AA nmhd rechargeable batterys I have a 1.4 ohm resistor in series with it to limit the current to .6 A or so.
