I want to use this thread to get feedback from our members on their motor/ boardtrack bikes. Post pictures, links , videos, and anything else motor/boardtrack bike related. Also I'm looking into buying a motor for a boardtrack project( build of 5) and I need to know the best thing to by for the look and feel I'm going for without spending too much.

Let's see what you got

Hey,

I am also into motorized bikes, but not necessarily boardtrack bikes. I like the bobbers. In any case, I am doing youtube vids on my next build and I will be getting a kit from http://www.thatsdax.com . They have been a reliable source of parts and kits for me and some friends for a while. also check out manic mechanic. Go to the bottom of http://www.venicemotorbikes.com and his link is there. He makes an adapter and sprockets that make life a lot easier for us. Venice uses his products and likes them.

This is mine. If you want to see more the build thread is here. http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=25116

I think the main thing is to do what you like. There are a lot of good motors, some being greater than 50cc wouldn't really be appropriate for a road going bike. I like old motors, from mowers, stationary use, etc. I cant really provide any advice on china bicycle motors.

Here are a few threads on the topic.
