I was googling crackle paint finishes and came across this beauty, now who's going to transfer this design to a custom rat rod bike? 8)

My pal Vincent from France recently visited the M2R museum in Andorra, and among his photos from the trip is this lovely 1930 Majestic, 'The New Motorcycle', with a 350cc Chaise ohv engine.

It's actually super easy to do. Elmer's Glue is what I used. Put down your first color, then a thin layer of glue, and finally spray your top color. I can't explain the science involved, but the end result is a crackled finish.

I saw in an Art Supply place somewhere a spray to achieve the crackled finish... I can't recall the name. You can also try by applying an enamel base layer and the top coat in lacquer.
