mount bigger trike wheels

I want to mount bigger wheels on my rat trike. Anyone know how I should go about it?

You could. I just drew up a possibility. You are own your own for spoke length calculation and wheel strength. It is an attractive pattern though. In this design 4 holes on the hub would need to be slotted so they could hold two spokes to remain symmetrical. It would be different.

Jman: Which side are slotted? The inside flange or outside or both?

Both sides. That picture is half the wheel. You'd probably want to do some sort of crossing pattern on the spokes to give it strength. I can't say it will all work but it's all I could come up with.
