Movie: The Bicycle Thief

I know this movie has been mentioned on here before, but I just watched it last night on Netflix. Want to see a bunch of old diamond frame bikes? Watch the movie. Want to be happy after the ending? Don't watch this movie.

It's so incredibly depressing. I probably just don't understand older cinema. I use to say that I liked movies with a sad ending, but this one took the cake and I'll never say that again.
