Mtb ideas?

I've got this ordinary mountain bike and don't know what to do with it. Thought about changing it to a single speed mountain rat style bike with a layed back seat (stem only to give the layed back appearance). 26" wheels, maybe some shorty fenders on front and rear. Keep the flat bar and the front hand brake?

Or is it all just too lame and not worth it? I do kinda like the geometry and angles... But I don't know? Maybe once a multispeed mountain bike always a multispeed mountain bike.

Looking for help and guidance on this one!

in my opinion its hard to make a diamon frame look cool, they're just too square! unless all the part were free i doubt id ever use one.

I had a cheapo mt. bike frame, added a second bar and it changed the look.

Wow, that really does change the whole look of the bike. That's a great job on that bike with the color and the tires altogether.

That's the example I was just about to post up for your idea. That is one of my favorite bikes on this forum. I'm in the process of copying it - with just a couple different twists. I bought that Vista mtb frame from a poster yesterday to get started. That bike inspired me big time tiki
