I know I've said this before, but I love the vibe of your shop!

Are you building a bike, or showing off?

BECAUSE IT'S WORKING!!

In high school... I think my Freshman year ('86) I had to have a Hornet R/C car! I saved and saved and got it! And you would think that it would be so precious to me that I would have kept it! Whatever happened to that thing? I probably used it too rough and destroyed it. But I loved racing it around in the dirt!

Ok , I’m caught off guard a bit seeing three catagory s . As I was intending to do the winter muscle bike build off. But hey the more catagorys means hopefully more builders then great! I have a bike I disassembled and never got around to reassembling for the sake of full disclosure . This is because I have a potential parts bike sitting at a friends 2 hours from me. The good news is I have to go that direction so I can finally get the other parts bike ! Weather or not I use anything from it time will tell , Lol. The first photo is a photo of the day I got the bike . And there’s photos of where the bike is now . I believe have a lot of interesting stuff to throw on this build.

The day I brought the bike home .

A Western Flyer Eliminator was my first Stingray style bike. My parents bought it new at the Western Auto in Berea, KY. I was about 8 years old.

Nah if I was showing off I’d show the pedals I’m using for this build . Lol vintage Rc cars are my other hobby.

It’s still a mock up I’m not close to done but it’s a runner !Twenty six bicycle bike crank 24” Sissy bar a huge factor making this adult riding friendly ( This bike moves right along ! ) This being said you have to really pay attention position cornering due to crank length. Bike was a coaster brake bike . Still had no brakes . Lol Wheelie bar still needs to be secured.
