Sorry i dont have a pic yet because im not picking up the bike until Saturday but i was so excited i couldnt wait to tell about what i found.
Yesterday i was over at my new friends house getting a few bike parts. He is an elderly fellow nearly 90 years old who has tinkered with bikes nearly 50 years and has probably over 100 bikes some complete but most are parts bikes or fixer uppers. He actually has a Murray beach cruiser made in 1981 brand new and never ridden.
As i was loking at a bunch of bikes that had been piled under a shed for years i spotted a Murray muscle bike in nice fixable cond. I actually had this same bike as a teen in the early 80s that i cobbled together from several other bikes. I always missed that old bike but yesterday i found its twin to bring home and save. Now i am hopeing someone here may be able to tell me what model it may be. I will post pics up this wknd.
Bike is yellow 20in. chrome fenders. Frame design is the twin tube kinda rounded at the back and a banana seat. The one thing that sets it off is the adjustable sissy bar that leans foreword not rearword so putting a tall bar on back is probably impossible. And last the rear portion of the frame is red but the rest of the frame looks almost Caterpillar yellow. Again sorry about pics.
