[The Renaissance Man]

Before manufacturers cashed in on the muscle bike craze in the early sixties,
its origins can be traced to some California kids building kustom bicycles that imitated the motorcycle and automotive trends of the fifties.




'Muscle Bound' is my tribute to those early kustoms that set a course bound for muscle.

Lee, I looked at my voting picture and decided that you were right. The photo was a little busy and the bike wasn't clear enough. Thanks

I didn't really want to use my 'mug shots' for the vote pic even thought they show the bike more clearly. I wanted it to be in a period setting to emphasize its place in American history. So without a time machine I took some more liberties with the back drop and relocated to the suburbs!

I replaced it in the first post/first picture per da rules.
