I'm glad you mentioned this. I looked and the painted red cranks are shorter. They are however in decent shape and look to be correct except for the date code 1966 on one and 1967 on the other but you don't see that part when it's installed so we'll pretend it says 68...lol. and of course having the wrong chain rings but I have a few sets. Now I got to clean those up... And my only day off Tuesday I'm going to rescue another bike... Someday it will get done...I remember that being your plan for the wheels, but I thought the drum brake would be a good addition.
I looked at the pics again. The cranks for the mini twinn are shorter than the usual ones as seen here:

The ones that came on it painted red look like longer standard cranks also. With the lowrider forks might be a pedal scraper.
