I see a few music lovers stuffing their speakers in a bag and hanging them from their handlebars as I once did. My own issues with this being muffled sound, swaying hardware and an occasional wet bag. Water bottle mounts were the obvious choice but I broke many cheap clamp mounts made for bicycles before finding motorcycle risers.
I simply reversed the tightening bolt and put a nut on it after finding a cage with holes that fit the large bolt. Best mount I've ever owned. Everyone's speakers are likely different shapes and sizes but even this design tailored to bottle cages still bounces out when upright, so nothing is ideal. But luckily cages come in different sizes and some cheap synthetic rubber bands will keep it in place. I like my music as clear and crisp as possible so this allows me the direct positioning I prefer.
Bass in my face rather my crotch... or somebody else's.
Not too pretty around the edges but I was just too lazy to grind them round.
More recently I found these newer sleek motorcycle mirror clamps. If you're bouncing around like me these don't loo nearly as strong but a couple would probably do for casual riders. The bolt holes are thinner so finding a cage would be easier than my own limited choices (in stainless).
