my latest project for the winter season, a 62' jc higgins cruiser that was given to me from a real estate guy about 15 years ago who knew i liked old cruisers.

did a fresh primer black paint job on it this weekend with a semi gloss clear coat. was thinking about getting new cruiser handle bars for it and repaint the rims. maybe red.

planning to keep this one a little rough and may use it for my winter commuting to work.

soon, i plan to share pictures of my 59' amf cruiser rebuild and others.

nice! i could see some red on that bike, but being a fan of rust, i'd keep those handlebars :)

you know, i've got one of those rubbery seats on my Murray; wonder where those came from?

too cool bro. the seat is from a murray westport and it will do untill i find a suitable replacement. it did squeak alot though untill i fixed that. im half way in keeping the current handlebars or go with cruiser ones. since photo, i added a chrome slim classic rear rack for my work gear as i also use it as a secondary commuter. thanks for the comments.
