My 62 Schwinn something

this one is my 62 schwinn something. i got it complete w/ a couple coats of paint on it and everything that was chrome was spray bombed silver. and after stripping all the silver off all the chrome was pretty much rusted out. after taking off the schwinn head tube badge it shows the original color to be coppertone. i still don't know what direction to go with this one yet. sorry for the dark pic it's in my dungeon.

nice, wish you could have uncovered that coppertone intact tho oh well, are you sure its a '62 i didnt think coppertone was avaiable until later, either way youve got a nice place to start !!

im not a 100% positive its a 62 thats what i was told. the serial# is on the rear dropout and reads A 29382 i also read somewhere that it could be a 53 but i dont know much about that age of bikes in 20in.

I think they have the original stingray colors there.

im gettin ready to use some of Petes aluminum/coppertone for my LB****** stingray, tho mines stamped LB it had all the 67 dated stuff on the bars & crank. maybe gettin ready for christmas is my guess for the 67 stuff. got it off my neighbor who got it new (for christmas)
