I have spent the last six days as I had time rebuilding most of my bikes (regrease, clean, paint, changed some parts)and even built a new one.All five of my bikes might end up at the Tour De Fat because two of my brothers and a couple of nephews who have thier own bikes want to ride mine. That makes me happy. All of the bikes have been pictured on here before. The Hot Rod bike had the fender skirt removed, I was concerned it might start rubbin the tire. The Black and Tan had the tank plate removed for two reasons, 1) it cracked when I was putting in the light assembly and 2)because it served no purpose and I liked the look w/o better.Hellbilly got repainted, same colors just cleaned up. The last bike was an 80s- 90s Schwinn SS with no wheels. I had a set of S7s so thats where they went. AT first it was strictly a beach cruiser but I had a couple of trinkets I wanted to incorporate (radio w/siren,horn and light. and a horn w/ a propeller ,so then it took on a kind of Pee Wee Herman theme. The only parts I had to buy to build the bike was 1 S7 tire and a set of fenders. A rear basket is next but I will need to find one on the cheap. This bike really cruises, one of the smoothest rides of the bunch. The pics arent the best, the sun was not cooperating. The weatherman says 74* for the bike fest tommorow, sounds perfect. 8)
