I could not resist buying this one  I get a call at work from a guy asking if I was interested in an old Schwinn, turned out to be this one
not quite the old bike I had hoped for but it is in such good condition??? I asked "how much" his reply "75 bucks".....my reply "well its worth
75 bucks but I won't give you that for it ,I'll give you 50" and I told him why " after I clean it up and tune it , I'll have 25 bucks of my time in it"
He agreed so here it is hardly ridden still has the nubs on the tires and a few scratches from garage storage.

dont know if I'll keep it or sell it but I have put 20 or so miles on it :) its a '97 model Cruiser six

right on nice score ,great price defantly a rider !
been busy ? havent heard from ya ,whats goin on mark ? 8)

Whats going on Ralph, I been pretty busy lately but now with a little better weather I should be more into the bikes.
You planning on going to the Kool April Nites show next week end , I think my daughter and I are going down and maybe ride the river trail
still unsure as we have to go to Sac. on Friday .

Looks like the same frame and forks, and most of the components as I have on mine. How can you tell what year? My chain guard says 100th anniversary, but I wonder if they made anniversary editions for more than one year.

there is a serial # stamped into the head badge the first 3 are the days of the year and the last is the year
example....3657 would be made Dec. 31 of the seventh year you pic the decade 87,97 0r 2007 but yours is definatly 90s

If the bike came with those Schwinn Typhoon Cord Repop tires then that's $50 easily right there.

Nice find! :D

Cinese or Thai wanna be? The Giant made frames had serial #'s under the bottom brackets that started with a G. Could very well be chinese as well as there were frames being produced by China bicycles Ltd in Shen Jen during the same preiod. Giant is in Taiwan.Later & PEACE!!!

If those were Typhoon Cord they would have got removed in a hurry , Steve but they are just Classic Bricks. I still might take 'em off
and put on a set of the $4.00 Kenda flames anyhow just to save 'em for G Ps.

I have one of those China,Target Jaguars, and have one of those China 80cc motors, thought that the two should be married, see how it works out someday soon I hope, that is a good deal you got for it, like the paint, looks better than mine,

i have an 08 next lajolla (aluminum frame) cruiser and just bought off a whim a 09 huffy cranbrook cruiser from walmart, both chinese built bikes, and although they don't feel as solid as my chicago built 62 american, they have done me good. i was imterested in the schwinn DelMar cruiser they have this year. anyone heard of these? i have my classic heavy USA built steel bikes i love to death, but these newer chinese built cruisers aren't half bad. for me, after a few days of riding them to get them brokin in, i repacked the rear hub, bottom bracket and front wheel. as for the rear coaster hub, it was almost criminal how little grease they tried to get away with.
