My Garden Find

Digging up some fresh potatos in the garden yesterday my pitchfork hit a small metal object, an old bike license badge from my town. I know its not worth anything for the shape its in but for a vintage bike nut like me its just what the doctor ordered. Were badges like this common in the thirties or were regular plates in use back then?

Man thats cool all i ever dig up in my back yard is horse shoes and glass . That is a very cool find man. So what are you going to do with it? Garage art maybe?

Last summer I scored a mid thirties Ranger so it will go right along with my old daily cruiser. Garage art sounds good too!

oldrider...you'd be amazed at how a skilled metal polisher could bring that wonderful piece back for you.Garage Art be hanged! If you're not going to put it on a bike,you might consider having a pin soldered on to it and put it on yer favorite hat!How big is it?...Pappy 8)

Its about 1.5 inches tall by 1.5 inches at the widest point, not very big but its a neat treasure
