Well I thought it would be nice to build a bike for the teacher who I do the bike club with at the elementry school.................

The frame of choice this time around is a Sears "Glider" a nice simple frame. I have new 26" white walls and rims for it(better than the 28" it had). I also found a set of springers  wait till you see the plans unfold on this bike. The paint of choice this time around is

I found it is just as nice as the House of Kolors that I have used on past bikes, and this stuff is a quarter of the HOK price!!!!! the white is a nice base, I belive silver would be just as nice if not better.

the frame. Same as always...I ground it down using my air tools

Nice metallic green and the white undercoat is the perfect choice in my opinion, but others may like silver. Do you clear coat using urethane or just regular spray can acrylic clear coat?

The paint dried faster than I thought soooooo........having already asked my wife who is an indusrial arts/ graphics teacher to make me up some Hawian flower stickers of random sizes  she came back with a cool clear matalic ones :D :D

some times I use the acrylic clear but I have some very good luck with the High Heat clear for engines....I find it can take the hits better :D

I like the idea of using the High Heat clear. I picked up some Prism Flower Stickers for a scooter project I started last spring. Kinda dropped the ball, but I did get her painted in orange. I like the look of those hawaiin flowers. Nice touch.

in the automotive section at Target, they have lots of styles of stickers. They have the Hawaiian stickers in all sizes and some other cool styles as well.

I like the idea of the engine clear, I'll have to try that on my creamcycle bike.
