I thought the Iowa stickers were added since this Spree was owned by Iowans but I was wrong.
There was an Iowa model which had restrictors in the muffler which only let the bike go to the high 20's mph, removing the washer from inside with a torch or large drill bit will remove the restriction and let the bike hit low 30's mph.... so I now know the first mod

check the carb too and see if its been restricted, those are two easiest ways they slowed em down.
