well it Started out like most. just messing around on line. seen this TETANUS SHOT ON Wheels. I wanted to make it back to a Stingray looking bike. price was $300.00 to own it as is . with all the rusty 80's/90's BMX parts slapped on.. but the cost of crusty used Fenders, chain guard, sissy strut, Banana seat, 70's MX bars an stem . would have had me spending quite a bite more. than the bike would be worth. in present paint and rusty shape patina.

so while on Ebay pricing out the parts that were not on bike. to give it the wright look. well fenders alone were $60.00 and up an way to clean/rust free for this build. so pass on buying it.

so while I was thinking adding up what it would cost. browsing Ebay spot this fall in love and buy it! 1968 Rams Horn Fast Back campus green.. ya it do's not have stock rams horn bars. but that would have been the #1 stock part I swapped. so bought a few things to help get it rolling. nice vintage banana seat, NOS CARLISLE WESTERN FLYER BICYCLE TIRES that fit SCHWINN 20 X - 1 3/8 rims. I am eyeing some other parts. but spent way to much so fare. so the other goods will have to wait

man I got issues just spent $40.00 on a vintage bike reflector with banana seat mounts. the mount I could have made with needle nose pliers a vise and a used coat hanger. for free then just buy a new reflector or make my own. but nope I was drinking and eating pizza while looking on ebay.

then I spot these NOS streamers sure why not click buy it now.

look what just got drooped off at my door. a Vintage bike   I payed $875.00 for the Schwinn Rams horn stingray + a whopping : US $175.00 Shipping because seller said in listing. Bike will be professionally packaged by local bike shop. OK that justifies the cost. 20" bike shoved in a 26" mountain bike box with 2 strips of packing tape closing box.

ha ha ha I can relate to drinking , eating pizza and ebay! woke one morning to see i'd purchased a 300db police siren megaphone combo...??? was 10 yrs ago when rebuilding my boat, still in the box....never used it ha ha ha !

road it to work all this last week! after all it is March and Patty is a coming up . nobody's pinching this bike LOL light actually is not bad were its mounted. but I tightened up the seat strought bolts . oops for got about reflector bracket. it was made for a Persons banana seat pan. mines wider seat pan. it spread apart & snapped like a wish bone.😢 so next one I will be more care full with and use longer bolts. so I can space it out with nuts. to ovoid snapping bracket.

getting there just need to put on the NOS cables and call it done for now. still want a Schwinn Speedometer . but finding a decent one that don't cost as much as a house mortgage payment. not easy.
