hai there ratrodders!
finally i got this bike finished. becauce of my slackness,it took me about couple a year to build it
the frame
its not schwinn or any other bike, its a homemade at local welding shop.
the geometry i made myself from picture of a micargi from the internet.
and since i did not take any measuremet from actual bike, it end up a really big bike than a standard cruiser, there goes my first slack
after it came out from local welder, i didnt like it much. so i toss it outside about a year to let it rust.
few month ago, a saw a pair of wheelset at my friend backyard. it was on a lowrider he got.
its an araya rims modified with extra spokes, kenda rubber and shimano 3cc coaster
he gave it all for $10
lowrider style spokes
good old shimano 3 speed, stuck on 2nd gear since i dont have the shifter
the fun part begins, building it
got the frame, got the wheel, buy cheap MTB forks assembled it... then darn! the frame not straight!!
go back to the welder shop and it took couple weld heat and hammering on the chainstays to straighten it
a lot of welding spot to straighten
pedal i stole from my friends moms bicycle
cheap local made saddle modified wiht extra springs
homemade strutbar holder
thats all folks...enjoy..
