My Wife saw how much I have enjoyed working on my projects that she wanted in on the fun!She asked me to teach her to weld so she can build her own or maybe stretch her cruiser..So she might be posting her own builds in the near future! 8)

I call foul. For all we know behind that mask is a man. Wife welding... ha!

and if it is really true... that's pretty cool 8)

Watch or next thing you know you'll be complaining about how she spends all her time playing in the shop, making a mess, ignoring you and things that need to be done around the house.

Yo G, The white down spout frame on the table is crazy. Is that a frame concept? Good luck with teaching skills. I once tried to teach my first wife to drive a stick. Did you notice I said my first wife? Oh yeah, Why do you think they call em consumables? You are a good man. Best wishes.

Yes it really is my wife and she surprised me at how fast she picked up on it!

That’s VERY cool! 8) How’s that old saying go? The family that welds together, stays together . . . or something like that.
The big question is . . . who does the dishes and laundry now? :p

Legend has it that Arnold Schwinn would only let woman braze the frames. He thought woman had the "magic touch". I told my friend this and he said there maybe some truth to it. Back in the day, when Trek still made bikes in the US, he toured the factory. The only welders in Trek's custom shop were woman.
Best of luck to you as a teacher and best of luck to her as a student.

my grandma's friend (a woman) was a welder for Harley Davidson. What is it with women and they're knack for welding? interesting.

Yeah, that is why I won't teach mine. She might be better than me, and remind me about it.
