This is my wifes 1969 schwinn fairlady that im doing for her. She picked out the candy purple at the powdercoaters and hopefully i'll get it done and out of way the so i can get started on my 77.

Man that looks so great. You're doing more then a good job so far, WOW it's nice!!! That purple is the best color for that bike, I bet your wife will faint when ya have it done!

thanks guys. she likes the color alot too. all we need for it is a seat, she wants either the violet w/ silver ribbing or the one on the grape crate, or the white w/ silver ribbing. still undecided.

Holy crap. I didn't know you could get candy color powdercoats to look that good. Maybe I should get my '69 Apple Krate done by powdercoating. Is it expensive?

not too expensive, about 60 bucks in my town for the frame, fork, and chainguard.

i agree
white seat white grips and perhaps white pedals?
just a thought.........
