Picked this bike up today. All I know about this bike is that it's a Western Flyer because of the head-badge but I know that could have been switched.. The frame is solid and so is everything else but I will need to replace the pedals. The serial number is either in a different place than it usually is or else its just gone because I couldn't find one anywhere. I love the sprocket and the truss rides. It has a nice Messenger seat. I aired up the tires and they hold air fine and oiled up the crank and everything and it rides fine. Any information or identification on this bike would be great and much appreciated!

It may be a mid-later 50s middleweight, especially if those are 26 x 1.75" tires. Monark stopped using the aluminum ID plates after 1954, the last of the balloon tire models. -Adam
