Mystery XKE tire!

I knew the XKE raised white letter tires came in 16, 20, and 24" sizes. I have never seen one in a 26" size! The owner of this tire said he also had a slick with it, which was also a 1-3/8" size, but threw it away because it was trash. Who knew?!?

I'm sure one of you knew that a 26" XKE set was made, but does anyone know what it went one?

Yes, I've seen them a few times. Iverson used them on a 26" Dragstripper. Let me see if I can find a picture...

I didn't know anyone but Huffy used the XKE tires!

I have a front 24 x 1.75 XKE 990 Tire. I am not sure what it came on. Cool to see something different out there. Always new stuff popping up.

24 x 1.75? Not 24 x 1-3/8"? I've never seen a 1.75 for the front of a 24", just a 20". Yeah... what did THAT come on? Crazy!

I'm with Crash on this one, I would find a build just to put those on . . . . you know Jaxon I have a seat I was holding on to for a special build so that whenever I find the right frame Hmmmmm

I have been trying to figure out what to put them on. I want to try them on my Silverking frame. I looked at a few 24 inch bikes to try to find something to work. The Wildone is a 24 x 20 bike. I thought of making a 24 inch bike out of it. They are a cool set of tires.

I've seen those 24x1.75 XKE tires on Huffy built trikes - in fact I passed on one a couple years back at Carlisle swap , for like 110 bucks, that had THREE of em .... what was I thinking, lol.
