Wondering if this weld on Frame 4 is original and supposed to look this way?

I'll check for signs of badges.

The only thing about the weld on frame 4 is that the paint all looks consistent...but it is all really weathered though.

Re: NAME THAT FRAME!

In photo number one, the two bikes from the top are Monarks. They have the single tube going from the seat post to the seat stays and a single (flatened) tube from the crank housing to the chain stays. One is a Rocket and the other a Super Cruiser or Deluxe.

Dang Gordon...you're good.

Which one is the Rocket and which is the Super Cruiser or Deluxe?

First photo, first bike from the top is the Rocket. Very similar top tube configuration to a Schwinn DX. Next one is the Monark Super Cruiser or Deluxe, which resembles the Schwinn cantilever frame like a Phantom.

All the frames look like balloon tire to me, so they are theorecticly 1954 or older. None appear to be prewar, so they are no older than 1946. So, somewhere between 1946 and 1954.
