Well, I'd like to congradulate Darrel Waltrip in typical bicycle fashion. These are the first scans of my many, many ads. This first one ain't too bad, even if I do say so myself. I screwed up on the second one a bit. These two Darrel Waltip Special Edition Western Flyers came from a very rare 1994-95 Western Auto Dealer catalog.

This is a scaled-down and rebadged Huffy Sonic 6.

I had that same fork and handlebars on a Huffy Sledgehammer mountain bike I had. Probably made by the same company.

Huffy was the main supplier for Western Auto from about 1990 until the bitter end in 2001. So its good to know the Huffy counterpart to the bike. Murray was dropped in the 1990 model year I believe. I own one of the last ones, a 1988 Murray-built Wildcat.
