Just bought a Hiawatha from an antique dealer. I would like to post pics but have been having problems doing so. I need lots of advice on how to remove paint splatters, ID, color schemes, restoration, and parts if need be. Any advice is appreciated it, especially with the posting of pics...
 
Easiest way for pictures is to go to imgur.com, you don't have to sign up for anything, just click upload photos, drag them into the box, then copy and paste the link that's surrounded by the
 
I'd say it's a 1955 or right thereabouts. This is a bike built by Cleveland Welding company but it was after AMF bought them out. Looking at the serial number under the bottom bracket will give you a certain year--it'll end in 55Cw or the like.

Looks pretty unmolested except the headlight is a bit older. Overall, a great buy. Antique shops don't often produce something worth buying and they're often overpriced. I don't know what you paid, so it may have been overpriced, but certainly not crap :happy:
