Hey guys, here's the situation...

I have a 20 x 2.125 (57-406) S-2 Schwinn rear wheel. I'm wondering if this 20 x 2.125 GT white wall slik will fit it on the wheel. The description for the tire says, "Will Fit All "new" Non-Schwinn Rims". Have any of you ordered these and put them on your Schwinn wheels?

Also, I'm wondering if my 20 x 1 3/4 (47-419) Schwinn S-7 front wheel will fit a 20 x 1.75 tire with ISO Diameter = 406mm.

Any help would be much appreciated... thank you. :)

Schwinn's S-2 is one of the few that accepts standard size tires. The S-7 on the other hand, only takes 20/24/26x 1 3/4" tires. 1.75's are standard and won't fit. Schwinn must've created a lot of confusion putting both rims on Stingrays! ~Adam

As Schwinn saw it: No cofusion at all, simply take a trip to one of our modern, clean dealerships(nationwide)And purchase the finest quality tire there is for your Schwinn. Just ask the freindly, professional attendant. These wheel sizes were different by design and purpose!Later& PEACE!!!!
