In the never ending urge to modify the unbroken. I have found myself out of Luck this time.

I want to replace the fork on my straight 8 with the chopper style fork unfortunately that part has since been discontinued by Electra. Here is where I hope some of you may be able to help.

Does anyone have one that they removed or replaced for something else that they would be willing to sell. Does anyone know of a bike shop that may have one hanging on the wall where I could call and get.

The Electra part number is 469628 it is the triple clamp fork that came on the early straight 8, hellbilly, and Rockabilly boogy.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Chopperus.com sells triple clamp chopper forks and there waaayy better quality then factory electra forks, I have the stock fork off my ratfink but im hangin onto it

my factory fork is about 29 1/2 inches long. you could cut it down but it wouldnt look right, where the fork legs run into the bottom clamp the legs have a step in them and the top of the legs have a cap thats part of the legs them selves so you could cut it down but you would need to use the screw in style top plugs for it to look right. I put a chopperus chopper springer on my fink.
