Need help shortening a shifter cable

Does anybody know where I can get some of these tiny brass cable clamps to shorten a sturmey archer shifter cable. It has to be small enough to allow the threaded sleeve to slide over it and block it from sliding off.

Have you tried a boat repair shop or marina?

You can go to a hobby store and get some 3/32" ID brass tubing. Cut it to length to make the sleve and solder it or you might just crimp on to the cable?

I have dipped the end of the cable in to a blob of silver solder then ground it down to fit.

Another option is to get a barrel with a pinch bolt.
