Picked these up a couple of days ago. Not sure what they are. Neither has a headbadge on it. Boys bike is chrome 26" & has "Silver" something printed on chainguard, can't make out the rest of it. It has a schwinn seat, probably not original, nor are the bars. Front forks appear to have had strut rods on it at one time. Ser. # is P277348. Any help as to brand, year etc. is appreciated. I figure some of you experts will know!

Next one is this girls bike. It looks quite a bit older than the above. Ser. # E186326.

The chrome AMF is ultra cool as is....just need some new tires and maybe a new seat and you've got an instant Rat Rod.

interesting thing about those AMF's is the steer tube is longer than typical boy's bike , so a girls springer can be had for it on the cheap :p

Silver Flyer. Western Flyer brand AMF Roadmaster. Made in Arkansas. I bought the chain guard for my AMF frame last year for the build off. The star sprocket was made until about 1963. Your frame looks to have a collar to tighten the seat stem, that would be early 60's, before that, the stem tightened like a handlebar stem, no collar on the frame.
