I'd say 1947 (approx) Schwinn built frame. It looks like a men's DX model. The bike could have been sold under a number of different store brand names. At that time Schwinn built many bikes under contract for other companies.
I have a 1947 ladies bike for my wife that's C01030... very close in serial number. Both are just before the 1948 fire that wiped out Schwinn's documentation for that era.
Looks like you have the correct dog-leg crank, and other details of the frame point to Schwinn. The sprocket and chainguard have been changed out.
I'd say both wheels have been swapped out for modern cruiser wheels... and they don't match. Good for a rider, not good for a restoration. Mine was
a skiptooth chain and likely that was swapped because nobody could find one to replace it.
Looking close at the big picture I can make out AS on the seat clamp bolt, so that confirms it was Schwinn built. Not sure about the seat itself but it's a cool style and looks old even if it's not.
Would be a nice bike to restore, though a few parts will be a challenge. It's just fine to take apart and repaint and have as a new/old cruiser too.
