Stripped it down, greased it up, tube up some old tires and it is a rider!

I am looking for more leg room, so for now I have raised the seat and bars. I am looking a set of apehangers, and am pondering a layback seat post.

What kind of layback seat posts are you all using? Mine is 7/8 and I have seen several BMX types. Will they work?

Thanks

Jeff

lay back seat post would work , also looking at the bike the stem is really short , u could also use a longer stem.

Thanks to both. Really good ideas. I am waiting on a set of 13 inch tall ape hangers. I think they will help. I have looked at the 7/8 layback seatposts like this

or this

Know they would give extra leg room, but wondering how they hold up to my 250 lbs. Could just lose the 40lbs I need to I guess.

Thanks

Jeff

Get the reinforced one.

If you want to run Apes,I very strongly recomend a BMX 4 bolt head clamp.

I have one like that on my Cranbrook. I'm 5'11" and I could actually raise it up another inch or two from the absolute lowest possible position and still be comfortable.

My handlebar is a Wald 870 which has a 9.5" rise.
