need some help form my fellow rrbers western flyer experts

ok while cleaning my wife's bike and doing some checking on it I found what I believe the serial number on the left rear dropout
it is as follows n50858L anyone know how to decipher this and tell me what year and/or model I have?

I was told it was an amf built western flyer but there is no amf in the serial so I am not sure. it does have the star sprocket and peaked fenders and a cool rear rack with what looks like 3 rocket reflector areas but no reflectors
