This is the first of a series of Photo Journals of Northern New England towns and environs taken while riding on a bicycle. The car is ditched and the bicycle is taken out and ridden around without a preset plan; turning onto a previously unfamiliar street, walking into a shop, eating at a café and taking to locals about their town or tourists’ on a visit.
