As most of you probably know by now, I am not big into buying complete new bikes, I usually build/modify/restore the bikes I am into, but there is a company here in Australia I have been keeping an eye on, Jube Customs. As there is not many new posts on RRB at the moment, and I have well and truly searched out eBay etc, I decided to flick to their page...

They appear to be designing their own bikes and then getting them made to their specs, probably in China or somewhere similar, I am not too keen on the first bike they released, mainly as I am not a rear suspension fan, but any bike that comes out with a 24x4.25 on the rear and a 24x3 on the front is going to get my attention, this is the Street cruiser:

That bike is not my style, but the new bike they are bringing out just might be, kind of looks like a build I have in my head... This is the Hardtail Street Jumper:

Specs as follows:

This bad boy is a fully re-engineered stretched rear dropout inc bottom bracket shell - full chromoly 4130 jump frame. This is freestyle, meets BMX, meets street cruiser, meets Bobber style...and once again, you's ain't gonna find anything exactly like this on the planet!
Feat.
*Chromo 4130 rear stretched Jump Frame
* Our signature double clamp triple tree forks
* HUGE 55mm rear double alloy wall rim
* Front 26x2.35 and rear 24x3 chubby rubber
* 680mm wide alloy bars
* Leather cowhide saddle in vintage brown or jet black
* Heavy duty freestyle chain in CP and Gold options
* Chromo Cranks
* Sealed bearings all round inc hubs, headstem and bottom bracket

I have no idea on pricing, but as the alloy frame/suspension bike comes in at $800, it would I expect to be reasonably cheaper than that? Also apparently coming soon is a dragster/muscle bike, which may be interesting...

Any thoughts anyone?

Luke.

Yeah, they claim to have their own tires made to order, I don't know how true that is, or if they are re-branding other tires, but the 24 x 4.25” has "BITUMEN BANGER" on the side and the 24 x 3” has "WIDE WIENER" on the side, and are apparently from the "GRAN CHORIZO TYRE CO" :lol:

Personally I would have added a bit more rack to the headstem and added a looptail rear, but that is just my ideas talking, good on them for doing it I think!

Luke.
