I can't believe this. -20 degrees outside and what do I find in the local classified? A sweet Huffy cruiser for $85! You guys must understand that cruisers are not that common in Montreal and to find one in the middle of winter is pretty amazing. Anyways, I'm planning on loosing the fenders, go for a metallic paint job and some texas longhorn handlebars.

I took off the wheels tonite to remove the fenders and something didn't feel right. I opened the headset to find that it was dry as a bone! I opened up the bottom bracket and found the same situation...no grease. I know that Huffy makes cheap bikes, but gimme a break. How much money do you actually save by not greasing up the bearings??? Well everything is lubed now and running fine.

Nice catch :D should be a sweet ride when it's been hot rodded

Cruisers have been very popular here in Calgary the last couple of summers - expensive - but popular. Hopefully they will soon start to show up on the second hand market at fire sale prices. I'd like to have a Dyno but I really don't want to spend $600+ for one.

Great deal. That would be about 64 us dollars correct? Strip the decals and change a few items around a it will be a nice ride.
