I just picked up a new project for myself for the summer. It is a Rollfast D.P Harris. I don't know what year it is but the serial number is 74SN. I will need to do a full restore on it. One thing is that the front forks are bent in. I will have to straighten them out. Here is what it looks like.

Cool bike!

An older Mom & Pop bike shop should have the tool to straighten that for correctly.

it turns out the the fork steer tube on the fork is crap. it is bent and unable to fix it. But good news I did find a springer fork for it. I just have to pick it up. Now I just got to get to work on it and get it rolling again. i will have to post pictures of the forks soon.

Now here is a question..... I don't know what color to paint the bike. I was thinking of a lite green or primer red or white or orange. Any ideas?

Well the past few days I stripped the bike down and got the paint stripper out also. It is now down to bare metal and ready for primer and paint. I am thinking of making a tank for it also. I just need the time to work on that....
