yep noticed the price.

My rockabilly was listed at something over $600 when I bought it two years ago. Not cheap for sure. I really love it though and it rides so nice. So it was worth it to me. In hindsight, it would be nice to have that $500 back. But hindsight , 20-20 and all that. Although, I only have 3 bikes.

The rack on the front looks good. Hopefully there was some thought put into it and how is handles under load. The Gary Fisher Simple City has a similar rack that has load limit of 22lbs.

I was thinking the same. Having the load shift from one side or the other while a low speed "wider" steering manuever was made could really throw your balance off quickly! This would not be an issue with a stationary load.

I was thinking the same thing also. When I built my custom cycle truck last year it was very tough to ride, the basket moved with the bars. I rode it one day full of empty pop bottles and it was ridiculous. If you have any kind of weight in that basket, you probably can't expect the kickstand to hold the bike up. They should have either made the basket stationary or put a drop stand on the front or rear. It is a sweet looking bike though.
