I just got a set of 50mm felt wheels for my Dyno, and the rear wheel seems too wide for the chain stays. Is there any way to narrow the hub a little to get it in there? Thanks for your help, Dave.

if the frame is an old cruiser frame, just widen the rear triangle but watch your overall alignment.

you might be able to remove a washer to reduce the hub width but usually not enough in my experience.

If it is a 3-speed wheel, there is not much you can do about the width of the hub other than spread the stays like Walker suggested.

On the 1-speed hub, Felt has an extra jam nut on both sides of the hub to bring it up to 125mm.

Remove one of the extra nuts off of each side and then take the thin nut you took from the sprocket side and screw it onto the brake arm side. That will reduce the over locknut dimension by 10mm and keep the hub centered respective to the rim. Good luck.

If your Dyno is a Deluxe Glide or A Ultra Glide, the width at the front of the chain stay is 2.75. The Moto Glide is 3.25, a 50mm Wheel will fit a Moto Glide. At the hub mount the Deluxe Glide & the Ultra Glide are 4.25. The Moto Glide is 5", Hopefully that helps.
