New Forum Idea...... : Links : ??

I see some kool link stuff scattered about in the posts
that get buried two or three days later. Maybe we could have
a Sticked 'Links' page that would have companies, clubs,
accessories manu's, etc., etc.....
People could add links to the sections they are appropriate
to with a short comment ???

great idea bringing that idea back to the For-Front Ratboy..

maybe this should be made a seperate Thread...so it is right there on
the Main Page ..up front and easy to find,
cause I have had to look for it a few times...and having it as a FIXED THREAD would be awesome..

I sort of assumed something of that nature might have been
posted before ,but I havent been here too long and dont
remember anything like it.
I think having a static forum that can be referenced without
digging would be useful and convenient. I usually save stuff
right to 'Favorites' but my favorites list has bloatated out of
control !!!! Its a mess !!!!!

personally, i dislike how mant different forum areas the board has already... i can be pretty confusing to figure out what you should put where sometimes. you know, how theres 3 bike forums (5 if you include the 2 RRBBO threads...)

If it were up to me (and i know its not, and i'm fine with that) it would be pretty simple:
on topic- general (includes most everything unless if specifically falls into the following)
intros
Tech/how to
Classifieds
Off topic


I think the special RRBBO is good while the contest is ongoing, but whn its done, the threadds should be archived or put inot the general on topic area... maybe a setup similar to CBN or the HAMB?

just my .02. Hope I didnt offend anyone...
however its laid out, i will deal with. I love this site, and check it several times a day if possible. You could call me an addict!

Thanks for the input guys...this forum is always a work in progress.

I tried a little re-organzing to see if it helps a little.

When we first started there were only four forums. I also like the idea of keeping it simple...nothing like those forums with 25 different catagories.

Hopefully the new changes will help clean things up a bit.
